Amazing sand sculptures in the Summer Signs festival will make you look at sand in a whole different way. Here you can see art, read a story, even a history - all made of sand.
Having a drink at a bar made of sand or enjoying one of many activities at the venue with your kids will surely make the day pleasant and fun.
The festival brings visitors an opportunity to see unique sand sculptures, enjoy the music of the popular Latvian artists like Dons, Normunds Jakušonoks, as well as performances by Gypsy Baron, Samba de Riga, Fire Spirit and other activities for families and partygoers alike.
Last year's theme of Summer Signs festival was "Sporting Spirit". Artists from 9 countries made sculptures for five days to compete with each other to win the prize. Competitors used a total amount of 600 tons of sand for their sculptures making it the biggest sand sculpture event in the Baltics States.
