The Chairman of the Council meets with the Ambassador of the United States of America
On Friday afternoon, the United States Ambassador to Latvia Christopher Robinson visited Jelgava.
During the visit, the ambassador discussed the growth of the local economy and the city’s development plans in connection with the attraction of foreign investors, which would be relevant for businessmen of the United States of America, when evaluating investment opportunities in Latvia, with the chairman of the Jelgava City Council Andris Rāviņš. He also discussed the current plans in cooperation with Jelgava twinning city Carmel.
After the meeting in the city council, the ambassador of the United States of America together with the chairman of the Jelgava city council A. Rāviņš visited the 25th International Ice Sculpture Festival.
